SA's fleurieu peninsula
today i was a lady of leisure, and boy am i good at it = P tho i believe it was justified as soon i am off to the land of ice and snow, or so Nick keeps telling me… ‘babe it’s cold, real cold, forget your summer stuff – pack warm’. i have taken his advise and have not packed for summer at all, besides that is a wonderful excuse to buy new clothes, woo hoo
spent yesterday down at mclaren vale, wow is it lovely down there, so picturesque, i can see why ppl chose to live there. the vines covering the hills all mixed up with the bush are amazing to see. i think i enjoyed it even more knowing i was going o.s. and had some wonderful images of 'my own backyard' to take with me.
we went there, my mother, grandmother and i, to see the fleurieu peninsula biennale art exhibition. the works were very good indeed and going with mum was lovely as she is now getting right in to her art and painting and was able to tell us all about the artist and their styles. now that i have a better understanding of composition I’m hoping to be able to take lots of great photos on my travels to send home for mum to paint – who knows she might even have an exhibition of her own ( all the best mum x )
oh and looks like i might just be heading to London with a tan… seems tho i thought i was in the shade i’m a little pink…. oops…
