the tourist thing
so i'm still havin a ball even tho i spent saturday morning scrubbing the mold of the shower.... way gross but i did it... and i have photos to prove if you don't believe me.
saturday afternoon was shopping a Argos, Aust has nothing like this... well no that i have seen anyway, the shop space is full of desks and catalogues and all you do is search tho the 1000 or so pages find what you need and then record it's code. There are machines that you can key the codes into to see if the items are in stock. if they are then all you do is take the code to the register and pay for your goods. Once paid for you pick them up at the next counter, it's a very good idea but sometimes you have to wait AGES for things.... very frustrating
saturday night was dinner at chop chop noodle bar - so cheap and the best sweet and sour chicken i have had ever! saw the incredibles too that night, was a classic, make sure you see it!
sunday we went to the Victoria & Albert Gallery .. (Museum..) was very good indeed and also had a walk thru Harrods too, oh so grand! and the most important bit... picked up a new surround sound system - Woo Hoo!
Today (Monday) we did the tourist thing and went to the London Aquarium and Shakespheres Globe Theatre. the aquarium was very cool, got some wicked photos of sharks and were in time to see the piranhas feeding... tho was totally surprised that the vegetarian ones(?) got carrots and broccoli for dinner.
The Globe was really cool and i am hoping to go and see a play there in the summer - checked and it looks like Much Ado About Nothing is on this summer whish would be sweet and it's cheap at too, 5 pound for a standing ticket so we might even lash out and get a ticket in the stalls
Have a few interesting job prospects to look into this week, which is promising
Thanks all for your emails, it has been lovely to receive them
Catch ya Cherry x
