Silence on London's streets

Today at 12pm there was 2 min silence to remember the victims of the bombs which exploded a week earlier, during rush hour last Thursday morning. The cars and buses stopped, all the businesses stopped, and from what I could see everything still for two minutes.
I stood with my workmates on the corner of Sackville and Piccadilly with 1000's of others. It was quite amazing to see the cars stop on Piccadilly and all the drivers get out of their cars to stand with the rest of us in remembering. Have just looked at the BBC site and there is a vigil at Trafalgar Sq tonight at 6pm which i think i will go along to.
