White Stripes/Guys and Dolls/Adam Hills

Hi All,

About time for an update, We've now swapped back to GMT time so it's getting dark much much earlier now, bit depressing really when you leave work at 5pm and it's been dark for an hour at least. Although the dark cold night make for a great excuse to stay in, rug up and lounge on the couch.

Went to see the White Stripes on the weekend and wasn't really that impressed. It was more just them playing ... rather than performing. Meg on the drums tho was very cool to see - she has very distinctive style. Very theatrical.

Caught up with Michelle on the weekend too and Lou O's little sister Cat who is in London at the moment. We all went to the Thatched House - excellent pub - fantastic food. From there we rolled home and crashed on the couch to watch the blair witch project (not as scary as i had imagined) and then dragged myself to the gym to attempt to work off lunch friday night Nick and I and two friends from my work went to see Adam Hills at the Soho theatre - Was just as funny as i'd hoped it would be. Got a tshirt at the end of the show and when i stopped to say Hi to Adam he remembered us from the Ben Lee show - hehehe was pretty cool.

Thursday night we saw Guys and Dolls... Unfortunately though it was the only night that Ewen was not in the show.. he was off sick.. I could not believe our luck! We considered selling our tickets to some of the scalpers at the door but thought better and went anyway. It was worth going, the show was fantastic and considering we were almost in the rafters we could hardly tell it wasn't him anyway.

So things to come - We are off to Brighton in a few weekends time which should be great - we have booked 2 nights in five hotel www.fivehtoel.com

Mum and Dad get here the weekend after and then it's almost go go go until we get to Jan the 17th!
