the Ben Lee concert

Yeah – today is payday so I can finally afford to book up some things and just in time too as Nick and I are flying to Rome on Sunday.
We’ve got tickets to Guys and Dolls on the 3rd of Nov, Adam Hills on the 4th Nov and White Stripes on the 5th Nov… sheesh!
I’ve also been having fun checking out some great places to eat in Soho. There is a new place that has opened up called Hummus Bros and yep that is all they do. For £3.50 you get a bowl of hummus with either chicken, eggplant and tomato, mushroom and coriander or chickpea topping and two pitta breads. It’s really yummy and a fantastic idea too. Plus after they serve mint tea (for free) which is my new fav drink – just hot water and mint leaves simple and very refreshing.
Another of my favourites is a Japanese place I have found is called Yauatcha. I went there the other night before meeting Nick in town. It’s the chic-est place I have ever been to – they server the most awesome looking cocktails and also a huge range of teas and traditional Japanese sweets. I was there for dinner and had steamed prawn and zucchini dimsums and also salt and pepper silken tofu. I think this is a place that will be going on the list things to do with guests – Mum and Dad – we’ll go here for sure and the Hummus place too.
Probably the most exciting thing that has been happening here though was the Ben Lee concert the other night – I got to met him! OMG - soo cool, and short too but I won’t hold that against him = P The concert was really awesome and if you are lucky enough to have tickets to see him with Missy Higgins in his tour of Aust you will just love it! Got to met another famous Aussie in the crowd at the show too - Nick and I had a chat to Adam Hills (he even bought us a round), we talked all things Adelaide hehehe geez it was a fun night!
