A few things i've meant to post for ages

Time for another post - As you can guess that means today is quite at work... (nothing unusual really these days)... I'm really good at finding flight and accommodation deals now *giggle*
Got a fair bit of stick in the office on the first day of the test last week... not that i declared myself a cricket fan but that did not stop them all filing past my desk to let me know the score... I took it all quietly for 2 reasons 1, more bombs had just been discovered (one in the station i live nearest) and 2 ... well didn't want them to feel worse then they would already when they went in to bat!
25/5 was well worth the silence and i even got an apology from a few of the lads! HEHEHEHE victory is sweet but a crushing defeat when they believed they had a chance is just glorious!!
On another topic - what are people drinking at home - has the Pimms craze hit you there too? It's tasty, so if you get the chance try it! Perhaps better for a hot day - and a bit like lemon lime and bitters if you like that style.
Here is another thing - on the way to work each morning i walk down Vigo Street and each morning there are what looks and sounds like a flock of seagulls that circle the buildings above... not sure why they are there since we're a fair way from the ocean but it's just so nice to hear them - makes me homesick - well not homesick but certainly reminds me of home and all the wonderful things that will be there when i return.

Most recent incident affected one of the tube stations very close to where i live - Shepherds Bush on the City and Hammersmith line. I'm still not exactly sure what went on there but many of the surrounding streets were blocked off and i could almost see the police lines from our window.
Oh got an email that actually means I have something to do! Honestly this place is just daft!
