New House Guest

Nick's sister Kate arrived yesterday which was very exciting! We met her at Heathrow and yes the Love actually film is right. I think Heathrow airport is just great if you are feeling glum! Watching all the people greetign loved ones is magical.
We took Kate back to our house with Nick delivering instructions on how to live in London all the way – we were all pretty excited with details what to do.. – ‘central line is there’ and ‘catch that bus’ and ‘walk this way’. Poor Kate her head must have been spinning.
We arrived home and good little me baked banana bread for afternoon tea – have to say I was WAY proud of myself!
Kate rang home and then the fun part – she had presents from home! Turned out she had called my parents and they had given her a few things to bring to me… Cherry Ripes, Milo Bars, Hair Product, Tampons (the ones here are gross with cotton falling off) Chicken Crimpies and some photos of Mum’s paintings – got a bit teary about it all – Miss Mum and Dad like crazy!
Next we headed to the shops for a few essentials for dinner – ‘Bangers and Mash’ – Cherry style – And I must say my bangers and mash ROCK! New potatoes and sweet potato mashed with butter then fried zucchini, onion and mushroom all topped with GRAVEY… oh boy!
As you can see my life revolves around cooking and food but I love it
Only downer for this week was the migraine I got on Tuesday – Found my way home tho I couldn’t read the sign posts to see the bus so it was a bit of a struggle, slept for most of the day and then Nick came home and cooked for me, v.sweet

Ok I'm at work so i shouldn't even be writing this.. Off i go back to it..
Love ya all C x
