6 months to the day

ok have 30 mins til quiting time but it was a short lunch so i'll fill you in on the story so far...
Today marks my 6 months in London... Can't say whether it feels longer or shorter really all i know is i am enjoying it but that Aust will ALWAYS be home, i don't beleive i could ever live her.
Got some bad news today that the Beth Orton concert that i had (notice the past tence) has been cancelled... really bummed as i was looking forward to it! I guess i'll get my £25 back tho so i might treat myself ... or put it towards the pile of bills both £ and $ ... this place is expensive.
I now have my own desk at work (we are suppose to hot desk but no one does). In true new person style the only desk that was let was across from this stinky contract developer... PHEW it is REVOLTING. I've made it nice tho, i have some postcards up that i got at an exhibition and i cleared a space to put some folders so i'm feeling abit more like i belong.
Oh and other news, you'll remember i have been writing about work being.. well BORING and not very inspiring... I spoke to my manager and it turns out they all think i'm wonderful... Ah..what the? All i could do was sit there and nod and say thank you and then as i walked away i realised she still hadn't addressed my problem.. oh well i'll give them a month and then i'm going to ask for a review.
The weekend was a quite one, We did have plans to go to brighton Sunday but Satuday night ended up being quite big (4am we caught the bus from SoHo) and then 'someone' had a bit too mcuh of a hangover to make the bus the next day... not to worry tho as i was happy to potter around the house, called home and spoke to Ma, Pa and Will and then to Amanda and Ange, cooked and wait for it... filled my 4G iPOD up ... NICE ONE!
Should get back to the Barcelona bit..
Barcelona Day 5 - Gaudi
All in one day we saw Parc Guell where the Serpentine Mosaic seat are, Casa Batlo, La Pedrera and Sagrada Familia and along the way the Arch Di Triomphe. Gaudi's work is just amazing - so very modern considering it is over 100 years old... and whoa the Sagrada Familia still has another 30 years before it is finished...
That night we finished up with lobster at Port Di Olympic - it was such a treat!
Oh 30 min is up so i'm off to the gym now so i'll sign of and spell check this latter..= P or if my dad reads this no doubt there will be an email in my in box with all the corrections... love you Dad!
Bye Bye Bye
Cherry xx
