London - go go go

ok so perhaps i got a little carried away with the excitement of getting U2 tickets but really it will be awesome, 80,000 people. Gates open at 5pm and i think Nick and i will be in the line up at about 1pm 'just to be sure'.
Last Friday was pay day and boy did i feel rich at the time... now tho, after paying rent and bills and some £'s that were owed i have not much left at all... I'll make it through the month ( no need to send £ just yet ma and Pa) but it's just so surprising how easily it goes.... and getting use to monthly pays.. yuk.. i'm guessing is not going to to be too much fun either..
Weekend was good - went to see Lee Mack last night - the sketch show... or is it the Skit show.. oh well if you know it you will and if now.. any who.. He was funny but about 3/4 of the way through it did feel like he just gave up.. spent him time asking the audience if they had any questions and then just wasting time really.
Friday night i spent dancing at a Club called Pasha just near Victoria Station (yep get those tube maps out again) Haven't had a dance in ages and it was lots of fun.
Saturday was shopping and most importantly we went to the Australia Shop in covent gardens. Now here they sell every kind of lolly and snack that we travelers know and love and MISS terribly.
I scored Venetian Biscuits (my Granny use to always have then in her house) and Rainbow Freddos (man are the good!) oh and i picked up cheezels only to find when i opened them that they were NZ ones and not nearly as good as the Aussie ones.
Found out there is a sci fi film festival on next weekend that Nick and I are going to head to. We are going to the 2 short film screening (about 20 films in total) which looks very interesting. See there really is always something to do in London!
